I didn't take many photos during the trip. In hindsight, I wish I'd taken more. I purchased a Cheetah in Colorado and brought it to Puerto Rico, where it will spend its life island hopping, at least for the foreseeable future.

Our route was Longmont, CO to Lubbock, TX. Lubbock, TX to Lafayette, LA. Lafayette, LA to Fort Lauderdale, FL. Fort Lauderdale, FL to Aguadilla, PR. Our legs were between 3 and 4 hours each, and in total, we spent about 26 hours flying during this trip. Luckily we had a good tailwind, or it would've taken a lot longer. Granted, that 26 hours included plenty of taxi time, holding short time, and just screwing around in the pattern time. I also got about 6 hours of actual IMC instruction from my ferry pilot CFI, which was amazing. Foggles just don't compare to the real thing. From Fort Lauderdale to Puerto Rico, we were at 7,500 feet to Turks & Caicos, then from Turks & Caicos to Puerto Rico, we went up to 9,500 to get above some clouds.

All in all, it was an unforgettable journey, and I can't wait to do it again. And next time I'll take more photos.20200121_103720.jpg20200121_115306.jpg20200121_115250.jpg20200121_114406.jpg20200121_114359.jpg20200124_141745.jpg20200125_095927.jpg20200124_103148.jpg
